Comfort plans

Two visits a year, in the two months that decide your winter

September and April. Everything gets tested while there is still time to order a part, and you go to the front of the queue on the night it matters.

Two plans, and one of them is probably obviously yours

If you have a furnace and an air conditioner, take Hearth. If you also have a heat pump, a humidifier or ventilation, those need their own attention and Hearth Plus exists for that.

Demo pricing. On a real site these would be the current published figures, and they would say clearly what is and is not included, which is what we have tried to do here.

What a visit is actually made of

A tune-up is a vague word that covers everything from ninety careful minutes to a filter change and an invoice. Here is ours in specifics.

A combustion analysis every autumn

Carbon monoxide reading, draft check, and a look at the heat exchanger. This is the part that is genuinely about safety rather than efficiency.

The wear parts that always go

Flame sensor cleaned, igniter checked, capacitor tested against its rating rather than eyeballed, contactor inspected, condensate trap cleared.

Filters and pads, brought with us

You are not left with a note saying to order something. We know what your system takes and it comes on the van.

Numbers, written down

Temperature rise, static pressure, superheat, subcooling, amperage. The same figures each year, so drift shows up as a trend rather than a surprise.

Plan questions

What does priority actually mean in January?

It means members are dispatched before non-members with the same urgency level. It does not mean we deprioritise somebody with an infant in a 55 degree house because they are not on a plan. Genuine emergencies go first regardless. Within the ordinary queue, membership is the tiebreaker, and in a cold snap that is often the difference between this afternoon and tomorrow.

Is a maintenance plan actually worth it, honestly?

For a system under about eight years old with no history, the strongest argument is the September visit and the CO check rather than the discount. For a system over twelve, the arithmetic is usually clear because that is when parts start failing and the repair discount plus the waived overtime rate covers the cost quickly. If your system is two years old and under warranty, we will tell you it is a close call.

Can I cancel?

Any time, and we will refund the unused months. There is no cancellation fee and there is nothing to phone in and argue about. If you have already had both visits for the year, we will pro-rate rather than refund in full, which we think is fair in both directions.

What if I have two systems?

A second system is a reduced additional rate on the same plan rather than a second membership. Duplexes and houses with a separate system for an addition are common here and we price them as one household.

Does the plan cover repairs?

No, and we would rather be straight about that than call it a warranty. It covers maintenance, priority, no overtime rate and a repair discount. Plans that claim to cover repairs generally have a list of exclusions long enough that the effect is the same, and we would rather just charge less for the repair.

Book the September visit now and forget about it

We will schedule it, remind you, turn up, and leave you a sheet of numbers. That is the entire product.
